I went there by accident, I had an hour of free time. The place is ok, there is enough space. There is no crowd that usually prevails in this city. The bathroom is very clean, which is noticed by many people. I ordered splitpea soup and fries, which I had been craving since the morning. and fallafel. The last two were ok, no surprise, but the soup is really delicious and I highly recommend it. I regret that I don't eat meat on Fridays because I really wanted to try kebab in Turkish pita. It's not expensive, with tip it cost me 25 dollars

Quick, easy and delicious little spot, open all day and serving up super fresh Turkish dishes and classics. We tried their loaded Fries and loaded wrap, filled with chicken and lamb and were super happy and super full.
The lamb gyro meat here was very special and noticeably superior to other spots in the area, would def try their lamb.

I can never complain going here. There’s not a lot of good doner spots in the city. Ankara always scratches the itch. Their bread is very good which I think makes the difference. Prices are fair. And you can get beer. Open until 3am. All good stuff. More

A Taste of Turkey: Ankara’s Culinary Delights
Our recent visit to Ankara was a delightful culinary experience. We sampled a variety of dishes, including the falafel sandwich, chicken gyro, lamb gyro, Mediterranean salad, and cheesecake.
The cheesecake was the standout, rich and decadent, a perfect ending to the meal. The chicken gyro, while tasty, was a bit dry. The lamb gyro, on the other hand, was flavorful and satisfying, though a bit greasy. The Mediterranean salad offered a refreshing contrast, a burst of fresh flavors.
Ankara is a cozy spot that offers generous portions of delicious Turkish cuisine. We're already looking forward to our next visit, especially to indulge in more of that heavenly cheesecake.

I am coming back here and bringing friends. I tried the Gozleme which was the other vegetarian option besides Falafel and I asked their recommendation for either spinach or cheese & they made me one with spinach & cheese! It was delicious. I wish I asked what the sauces are called! Must try!! More

As a Google Local Guide with over 300 reviews I do NOT recommend this restaurant.
First things first it's very hot in here and not in a good way.
The lamb adana was very dry and I had to dip it in the yogurt sauce to be able to eat it. This is the cheapest quality "lamb" and overall the food was below average. Shame on the owner.
The Mexican guy that took my order and made the food did his best with what he was given. Hard Pass!

The dolmas were ok. The babaganoush a bit bland, expected to taste the smoky taste eggplant acquires after roasting... the bread was good. The lamb and the salad were acceptable. I went expecting a bit more flavor. More

Skip the long line of people waiting to enter the famous deli one block over and come here instead. You’ll be greeted by the warmest smiles to be found in the Lower East Side. This down to earth Turkish restaurant offers authentic mouth watering cuisine. The grape leaves (Dolma) tasted so fresh I felt they were made just before my arrival. The lamb was more tender and juicy than any other lamb I’ve had before.

I stopped by this spot while waiting for my shirt to be fixed at the tailor. I figured I would get my last meal in for night and wanted to sit down to have a bite. A spacious place and a friendly staff. First off, the lentil soup tasted magnificent. I wished the soup had some whole lentil in it. However, the flavors were definitely delightful. The bread was soft and good.
The lamb gyro, the lamb, could have been cooked a little more for my taste, and the seasoning was different for my overall liking. However, the ingredients were fresh, and I asked for more sauce.
The one they give you is not enough. Overall, the soup and the bread were the high lights.

Stopped in for a meal at Ankara Turkish Restaurant and really enjoyed it. The falafel was especially good – crispy on the outside and flavorful inside. Everything tasted fresh, and the seasoning was spot on. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience even better. Would definitely come back to try more dishes.
